I am just really tired and upset with “experienced” webmasters trying to propose me links exchange and proposing shit instead.
Of course, they consider themselves smart guys hoping to find fools around and get good link to their site while posting backlink on a shitty resource.
But… they are cheaters.
That’s why I’m writing this post.
There are several observations on link exchange topic.
1. Don’t propose me shitty sites for link exchange.
Meaning I don’t want a link from a page located zillion clicks from Home page and be hardly indexed by Google.
I don’t want link exchange with a web-site specially built for link exchange purpose – it’s like plaque epidemy now – 50% of proposals contain reciprocal URL of a shitty site having no information, no sense, nothing except links.
2. Don’t propose me triangle exchange – it’s not good. I just said – it’s not good.
3. If you have, for example, legal web-site - don’t make a link farm on your site proposing to “post your link in a relevant category”.
There’s NO relevancy in this case. You run legal site – have legal links – SE will love you.
4. When you write me a letter about exchange – be short and exact – sometimes it’s hard to recognize the meaning between “Oh, if you receive this message by mistake, I apologize. I’ve manually selected you site between.. your site is so informative..etc”. No BS, please. I know my web-site is the best at minimum. Be so kind to clearly state what you want.
If you propose me what I need – excellent, no excuses needed, if you propose me shit – no excuses accepted:)
5. In initial letter provide URL where you plan to put my link, not only “I have a wonderful web-site, let’s exchange links”.
I have to see what’s the reciprocal page value is.
6. Read what webmasters request on links exchange page. If I say “the reciprocal page page must be cached by Google” and you send me non-cached – you steal my time, you steal your time, you are an ignorant non-attentive asshole.
7. Be honest and don’t remove my link and I will bring you more sites in the future.
GOOD, relevant sites. Because I trust you.
